BEEE HAPPY - KEEP CALM

BEEE HAPPY!

BEEE HAPPY!  BEEE  HAPPY!  KEEP CALM!

He fluted  friendly smiling,
the courteous conductor.
He clipped my ticket
on the bus vibrating, shaking
from Hyde Park Corner to the stop at Picadilly.
His smile shining
exposing generosity.
His eyes’  bronzed  iris seemed reflecting
his life, nice and warm and common behind the scenes.

At once, I felt more comfy in my cosy coat,
fur, ecological and fairly aged
but warm and silky soft. –
March was not.

And suddenly I did discern behind his ear
a glimpse of open air,
I saw, you must believe, it’s true!
The immortal author,  dit VOLTAIRE,
who once decided and for all
gave this promise to the world:

I  INTEND TO BE AS HAPPY AS CAN BE
BECAUSE IT’S REALLY GOOD FOR ME!

François Marie Arouet,
dit VOLTAIRE,
Prince de l´esprit,
philosophe de l' Europe,
lived until he died at eighty-four
and our Londoner conductor
King of King´s Road, makes his clips

and makes me feel
just HAPPY
on the bus vibrating, shaking
from Hyde Park Corner to the stop at Picadilly.

LILLEMOR BRINK  on a bus in London. An evening in March many years ago,
